Investigation Report:

​

We started our investigation at 10pm with a guided tour of the exterior and interior of the prison complex. The tour was very interesting and was conducted by an ex prison warder. In paranormal terms the tour was unremarkable in most areas  except for two. Our first paranormal  experience during the tour was by the execution wall/7 inmate graves. The tour guide was explaining about the graves when all of a sudden we heard the unmistakeable sound of a military squad quick marching through the courtyard. The sound was that of many possibly 30 or 50 soldiers boots marching on a stone, paved or gravel surface. The sound was very loud, everyone clearly heard it and was as if  one was standing outside Buckingham palace with a group of guards marching past, it was that clear. The tour guide said ​"Ive never heard that before". For the purpose of clarity the sound came from the direction of the Infirmary/Hard Labour block and proceeded towards us at the 7 inmates graves/execution wall.

​The second experience I had was in A Wing on the second floor towards what’s known as the haunted staircase. I walked into a particular cell, maybe second from the last and got an overwhelming feeling of electricity flowing through my entire body. It covered every cell of my body and my body reacted with goosebumps and my hairs standing on end. This was a profound paranormal experience for me.

With the guided tour concluded, we headed back to B Wing Cell 4 where we had stored our equipment and where we would be sleeping for the night.

​

We got our gear bagged up and headed off to start our night of investigating.

​

We headed straight out of the main lobby entrance and made a right towards the execution wall. We passed the Execution shed and mortuary on our right and ended up outside the Hard Labour wing/Infirmary. The Hard Labour block is a very old part of the jail. It is three stories high with the top floor being the old Infirmary. The Hard Labour block was where inmates (Men, Women and Children) would have smashed rocks into tiny pieces and walked on tread wheels all day long.

​We started by heading straight up to the Infirmary where many would have suffered and died in this very room. We made a quick pass of this room only using night vision cameras with only a few orbs captured. Having left this room and back downstairs and outside, I felt the need to return to the infirmary on my own. As one would expect the feeling was quiet different, a lot more scary on your own but this is to be expected. I however held my nerve and waited in the quiet and pitch black dark to allow my senses to adjust.  After a few minutes with no

light other than the tainted green glow of my night vision camera my

senses adjusted and I started to feel the room. Watching the screen on

my camera I see this translucent orb come from the doorway on the 

opposite side of the room whizz about and come right up to my camera

lens growing in size and density from a translucent to opaque and

finally solid white. It hung in front of my lens for a second or so before

darting of to my left.. out of frame.. out of sight..

The Orb wasn’t just a visual encounter.. I felt it, I felt it manifest as it 

flew closer and I felt its aura. It made me feel calm, warm and honestly

it felt like a friend. It felt like it come to check me out and I got the fee-

ling that it liked me, as if it had its own personality. In the footage you hear me say "Oh, Hello".. Thats how I felt.. Like a first meeting with a warm greeting..

​Feeling a little more complete I left the Infirmary and headed back down stairs outside. We continued on with our investigation but the Infirmary was firmly in my mind and what we would capture later in this investigation when we went back in there shocked us all.

​

​​We continued around outside through a door and found ourselves in the old gate house. Our tour guide had made us aware earlier that the upstairs rooms of the old gatehouse were hot beds of activity with small stones often thrown at people.

​

​We didn’t experience anything and felt no feelings of paranormal activity so with a lot of ground to cover we promptly moved on. Later on upon reviewing the camera footage we was surprised to discover a disembodied moan that the camera had picked up which we never heard ourselves at the time. this was downstairs as you walk into the building from the courtyard.

​

We proceeded through the governors office and out into the exercise yard. There have been reports of a man on the roof as seen from the exercise yard and also shadow figures within the exercise yard.. We didn’t experience anything here so again moved on. 

​

We crossed the exercise yard and entered D Wing and Segregation. We spent some time in this area as there has been a lot of activity in Cell 15 (Monster of Worcester's Cell) due to recent circles being performed within this cell and sparking a host of paranormal activity. Again we experienced nothing in D Wing and Segregation so moved on and entered A Wing. Having had an earlier experience in A Wing I was very hopeful of activity in this area and we wasn’t disappointed..

​

We got some great spikes on our EMF Meter spiking right up into 20+ Milligauss again getting a lot of intense electricity feelings through our bodies which would last several minutes whilst we remained still then the feeling would lift as if it moved on..

​

We conducted some EVP sessions on our Olympus WS-852 Voice Recorder but got no hits.. We decided to try the P-SB7 Spirit Box and we got a lot of vocal through that.. Most was illegible but we also used a Ghost Box which stores a memory bank of words which spirit can use to form words or convey sentences and that was more successful.. We got many words through but most profoundly we got "Car" and then "Find My Grave" this didn’t make sense to us until later on when we were walking about outside we came upon the area where seven men who had been executed were buried in unmarked graves.. to our surprise across the way were parked 2 staff cars which linked those words on the Ghost Box.

We also got various other words including "Pain" (As I was suffering from a trapped radial nerve at the time I jokingly replied with "Yes.. I am in pain")​

​

We had no orbs or anomalies to report in this area and as the activity seemed to slow up we decided to move on.

​

I felt compelled all evening to head back to the Infirmary so we decided to head back there and conduct a Spirit Box session..

​

When we entered the room we was getting a lot of activity. We captured so many orbs on video and when I switched on the P-SB7 Spirit Box we got a lot of voices.. Many male voices came through but were muffled and mostly illegible. We did however get  (in the space of 6 minutes) 4 cries for help from the same female voice.. I tried to make further contact by conducting an EVP session with out Olympus Voice recorder but ended up with nothing.

We used the Ghost Box and again got a lot of words coming through. The only full sentence we got was "There are more of us here"

​

We left the Infirmary feeling that someone there needs our help. I will return and try to make further contact with the lady who needs our help and hopefully help her.

​

We made our way from the Infirmary to the Execution room labelled "The Shed" where we picked up nothing out of the ordinary and likewise with the condemned mans cell..

​

We moved on to C Wing.. This wing is notorious with the Woman in White.. after spending some time in the wing and cells we caught many orbs on camera but nothing else to report.

​

That final wing concluded our investigation which proved successful. We packed our gear and bedded down in our cell for the remainder of the night.. the time we concluded our investigation was 3.30am.
